CRFP Exam
The Certified Restaurant Facility Professional (CRFP) Exam is competency-based. There are no prerequisites, but suggested experience is 3-5 years in a full service restaurant facilities department. The exam consists of 14 areas of knowledge covering all aspects of restaurant facility management. Test takers are given 3 hours to complete the exam and results are emailed immediately following completion of the exam.

Each section shows the percentage of questions on the exam for that area. There are 190 questions on the exam.

CRFP Exam Registration
Through RFMA's partnership with KRYTERION for test delivery, test takers can create an account online and schedule their exam. Webassessor is available online from your computer for the non proctored practice exam and at a worldwide network of testing centers for the proctored exam. CRFP Designation – CEU Management
 
The Continuing Education Unit or CEU is a nationally recognized unit of measure for non-credit continued education programs. The CEU process is designed to document active involvement and participation in continued learning during the member’s CRFP designation 3-year renewal cycle. It is necessary that you obtain the required number of CEU units during this 36-month time period to maintain your CRFP designation.

Certification renewal is required every three (3) years. RFMA members will automatically be renewed if the CEU requirements are met in their member record. CRFP’s that are not active members of RFMA must submit their renewal applications by October 31st of the year their designation will expire. There is no renewal fee unless you have a lapse in renewing your designation. An application filing grace period for an extension may be granted up to December 31st of the year of expiration.
