Food service energy and water survey is HERE!
ENERGY STAR is not just for energy saving consumer products. It's for building, too. And soon, restaurants may be able to earn the ENERGY STAR as well. We need your help to do this! The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will use data from an industry survey to inform the development of an ENERGY STAR 1-100 score for restaurants. Certain high-performing restaurants may even be able to earn ENERGY STAR certification and place a plaque on their building.

PayPal mobile app lets customers order ahead for restaurant visits

A new update to the PayPal mobile app for iOS and Android devices has made restaurant ordering easier than ever. The new update unveiled Sept. 9 allows customers to order their food ahead of arrival, thereby avoiding long waits during busy eating times. The new PayPal pre-order feature was tested in early 2013 and is made possibly via a partnership with Eat24.
