Carly Wohlers will be serving as our membership coordinator at RFMA. She is a graduate of Texas A&M — whoop! — where she played soccer, did a semester abroad in Sweden and graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration in marketing. Carly comes to RFMA with a strong background in account management and customer service, and she looks forward to meeting everyone at the RFMA 2013 Annual Conference in March. She will be spending the next few weeks getting acclimated and will be working with Heather Webb during this time to make sure that all members' needs are satisfied. Soda makers and restaurants say they will face daunting logistical hurdles such as needing to retool manufacturing, change distribution systems and even introduce new plastic cups if New York's ban on large-size sweet drinks in food outlets survives a legal challenge. The ban, the first of its kind in the nation, is due to take effect in March and would prohibit sugary soft drinks larger than 16 ounces from being sold in restaurants, movie theaters and food carts.
