Projects are Winding Down

Hello RFMA Members,

Final projects have been completed at the Stout Street Foundation. The MC Group supplied and installed an aging sign in front of the SSF's Admin Building and Roll-A-Shade supplied and installed 20 new window coverings throughout the Residence Building. Take a look at the photos showing these donations.

It has been another wonderful RFMA Gives project and I am humbled by our members desire to give back. Everyone at the SSF is thankful for all the items completed to help them serve the addicted community in Denver. There is one item still needed however, a sail type awning over their patio area. Fee free to contact me if you can help ( or 972-805-0905, x-3).

We are already thinking about our next project in Charlotte, NC. Stay tuned for details.

A Few Big Projects Completed!!

Posted By Jeff Dover, CRFP, RFMA, Tuesday, October 22, 2019

Hello RFMA Members,

The Volunteer Day may be over but work is continuing at the Stout Street Foundation (SSF). Two (2) large projects have been completed and they look great. First, there was a serious parking lot drainage issue to be corrected and Mad Jack's Asphalt & Concrete, LLC stepped up and donated their services to tear up several hundred feet of asphalt and replace with concrete which will extend the life of the lot. Additionally they installed a new basketball hoop including the equipment and concrete foundation and even striped in the free throw and 3-point lines. The residents are having a "ball" with this new addition. Take a look at the attached photos.

Second, the SSF main conference room which was partially remodeled during the Volunteer Day is now finished, with all new carpeting. Take a look at the photos as the room looks great and the staff at Stout Street couldn't be more appreciative. Thanks to Red Lobster for supplying the carpet along with Progressive Flooring and Shaw Flooring for the installation. This room serves many purposes for the foundation and they now have a room that represents them well. Lastly, Olive Garden has donated a few rooms worth of carpet that will installed by the SSF staff and residents shortly.

I am so proud of our members for their passion and involvement in this year's RFMA Gives project.Thank you to all!

Stay tuned, there's still more to come.

Dover and out.

RFMA Gives Denver Update

Posted By Jeff Dover, CRFP, RFMA, Friday, May 3, 2019

Hello RFMA Members,

Quick update on the RFMA Gives Denver project. This year we have three (3) Co-Project Managers assisting. They are:

- Josh Rains, CRFP, Romano's Macaroni Grill

- Peggy Fromholz, Red Robin Gourmet Burgers

- Jennifer Thompson, Punch Bowl Social

We recently visited six (6) organizations in the Denver metro area and each were wonderfully supporting the less fortunate providing food, shelter, and professional services to help them combat their addictions. We are currently putting a letter together detailing our site visits and will be meeting with the RFMA Gives Steering committee in a few weeks to discuss further and hopefully get a location approved. After we get an approval, we will schedule another trip to complete a "deep-dive" into what their needs are and how our membership can help. If things go as planned, this wish-list of projects and equipment will be presented to all RFMA members by the end of May.

Stay tuned, more exciting information will be communicated through our social link as it becomes available. Make sure to subscribe to this blog to get timely updates.
