The Donations Continue and a Special Thanks from the SSF

Hello RFMA Members,

Donations are continuing at the Stout Street Foundation (SSF). M+A Matting has completed their floor mat donations and they have been placed at numerous entrances at both buildings. Take a look at their pictures. The Water Heater Man has finished their big donation of providing replacement boilers for the Admin Building. This was a large undertaking and will save the SSF valuable energy dollars in heating costs. Look at the efficient installation photos.

Lastly, the thoughtful people at the SSF have given us a wonderful tribute to thank all our members and companies for what they have donated to their organization thru our 2020 RFMA Gives Project. They have a "Donation Wall" of butterflies representing individuals and companies that have supported them since their beginning. The larger the butterfly, the bigger the donation. Take a close look at the wall photo. Our butterfly is the large one in the center. There is also a close-up picture. I am so proud of what our members have done for them. I can't thank you enough for all the donations and support. It ALMOST brings tears to my eyes:).

We are not done yet. Stay tuned.

Dover and out.

  • Once the potential items and projects have been established and formally communicated to the membership, there will be a two (2) week time period for receiving initial donations of products and services.
  • If multiple companies within the same product category submit a request to donate a product or service, there will be a drawing or possibly a splitting of the product or service between the competing vendors.
  • The project managers have the right to make exceptions, such as if one product better meets the scope of work than the others, or if one offer exceeds the total commitment of the others such as including installation plus equipment.
  • If the same two companies submit to provide a product or service in consecutive years, the company that wasn’t chosen in the prior year will be selected for the subsequent year. If more than those two companies submit and there will be a drawing.
  • Any company that is not selected to donate their own product or service, is still invited and encouraged to donate funds to underwrite a different part of the project and participate in the volunteer work day.
  • Once the submission window has closed, all subsequent submissions will be taken on a first come first served basis.

Feel free to contact me to volunteer for any above items, other donations or with questions.

The volunteer day is Saturday, September 21st. More information on the activities will be forthcoming. Stay tuned and don’t forget to subscribe to the RFMA Gives Blog on our website to receive updates as they become available.

Thank you so much for your continued support!!
