Who are our RFMA committee members?
We are happy to have many great RFMA
volunteers that serve on our RFMA committees. They are all great individuals
that posse many great qualities such as Leadership, Diversity, Good
Communication Skills, Responsible, Loyal
and Strategic Thinker.
What kind of time commitment does serving on a committee entail?
Commitment is one calendar year which starts at our in-person conference
meeting at our annual conference. You may serve on the committee for multiple
Monthly conference calls and some additional monthly time will depend on
which committee you serve on. Also, an
person committee meeting will be held at each RFMA Annual Conference.
What kind of leadership opportunities are available on a committee?
Leadership Opportunities: Each committee has
great leadership opportunities. A co-chair serves for a 2 year term and then
can continue to serve on the committee

Conference Curriculum Committee
-Help develop the education program for the RFMA annual conference
-Evaluate education abstract submissions and presentations
Meetings are First Friday of Every Month at 9am CST
Online Learning Committee
-Seek and approve topics for the RFMA-U Online Webinars addressing facilities topics, as well as, RFMA member interest groups
-Create the RFM-U online webinar calendar and pick topics for each webinar
-Evaluate success of past webinars
Meetings are Second Monday of Every Month at 11am CST
Membership Development Committee
-Market RFMA membership and its benefits to potential RFMA members
-Evaluate and Update RFMA’s marketing materials
Meetings are TBD. New committee in 2016.
RFMA Resources Committee
-Build the RFMA’s online resource library
-Create and evaluate benchmarking opportunities
-Set up and moderate Peer to Partner Best Practices Calls
-Assist Communication & Publications Committee with finding and submitting editorial for the Facilitator
-Create Forum discussion on Industry Trends
Meetings are First Friday of Every Month at Noon CST
Member Engagement Committee
-InSite community development: Moderate Online Forums, Encourage participation in InSite and InSite InSider program
- Assist RFMA staff in picking regional event locations and activities
-Assist with the development of member satisfaction survey
-Evaluate current member benefits & member retention strategy
-Create plan for monthly Member Spotlights
Meetings are Fourth Friday of Every Month at 10:30am CST
