Annual Conference FAQs


When is RFMA 2017?
-RFMA 2017 will be held March 5-7 at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, FL. Early Bird registration will open in August. You can find more details about our event and registration as www.rfmaannualconference.com.

RFMA 2016 was held on March 13-15, 2016 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, TN.

Who do I contact to learn more about exhibiting at RFMA 2017?

-Please contact Kim Sackett our Exhibit Hall Manager for more information on securing a booth at RFMA 2017. You can reach Kim at kim@rfmaonline.com or 703-519-4268. You will also be able to purchase your booth online at www.rfmaannualconference.com when our RFMA 2017 conference website has launched.

What is my member number?

-Your member number is on your RFMA member card and can also be seen on your InSite profile. After logging into InSite using your username and password you can locate your member number from the "Bio" tab on your profile or by selecting "Edit Bio".  If you have difficulty finding your member number, please email Ryan Nordling at ryan@rfmaonline.com .


When is the Early Bird Rate end?

-The early bird rate of $100.00 is for RFMA restaurant members only. The early bird rate will end on December 15, 2016.


What does the registration fee include?

-The registration fee covers everything pertaining to the conference except your hotel stay and your downtime expenses.


I can’t find my registration conformation. How do I get a copy?

-Please contact our Ryan Nordling our Membership Coordinator and she can re-send you your confirmation. Contact Ryan at 972-805-0905 or ryan@rfmaonline.com


I want to bring some of my team members to walk the floor but just for a day, not the entire time of the conference. Is this possible?

-No, we do not offer day passes. Each attendee must register in their correct category (restaurant, full delegate, or non-exhibiting vendor) and the registration can be done online, by mail, over the phone, or at the registration desk onsite.


I need to purchase additional party tickets, how do I do that?

-You can either log into the attendee service center on our conference website or you can purchase the additional party tickets onsite at the registration desk. If you have any questions, feel free to contact RFMA at 972-805-0905.


I registered as a Non-Exhibiting Vendor; can I get on the exhibit floor?

-No, you cannot access the exhibit floor but you are welcome to attend all the education sessions, opening and closing parties as well as the general sessions.


Can I bring my boss as my guest to the conference?

-The guest cannot be a business associate of the attendee, or in any way affiliated with the restaurant facilities industry or any associated product or services industry. If a Guest is found to be an industry professional, the guest badge will be immediately confiscated and the related attendee will be subject to ethical review and punishment.


My boss registered me as a Full Delegate. What does that mean?

-Full Delegate is what the exhibitor attendees are known as. You are allowed access to the exhibit floor, the education sessions, the general sessions as well as the opening and closing parties.


Do we wear our badge just during exhibit times?

-No, you must wear your badge at all times. All attendees must have a badge. Badges are scanned when entering the education sessions, checked for entry into the general sessions as well as at the opening and closing parties.


Is lunch or dinner offered?

-Yes, we offer a continental breakfast on Monday and Tuesday, lunches during the exhibit times, refreshment breaks are offered in between education sessions, and food will be served during the opening and closing parties.
