In keeping with RFMA's mission statement, to advance industry awareness of restaurant facility management, while promoting professional and ethical standards to serve the customer with added value, RFMA has developed a certification program which provides access to the first restaurant facilities management professional designation. RFMA's core purpose is to promote the advancement of the restaurant facility management professional.
The Certified Restaurant Facility Professional (CRFP) Exam is competency-based. The exam will test a person with 3 - 5 years of experience to define the core competencies required to follow the standards of knowledge and skills critical to the restaurant facility management industry. The exam is designed to determine the hands on experience needed by the candidate to pass the exam. This certification program was developed by RFMA to provide restaurant facility professionals with a designation that will prove their abilities and demonstrate their commitment to achieving excellence within the restaurant industry.
