Discuss how "green" initiatives are affecting the coatings used, understanding what "green" coatings mean, the difference between "green" and sustainable, and current and future trends as it relates to the painting business
"Handyman Service" Who are they and what do they do? What can be deferred and addressed during a "Deferred Maintenance Visit"
There will be 45 minutes of discussion regarding “What can be deferred and what should be addressed during a Defered Maintenance Visit? Tile, laminate touch-ups, acoustical tile and other ceiling treatments, how much should that repair really cost? When should a store be touched up, refreshed or enhanced? What are these terms and what do they mean? Typical repairs to these problems with procedures for attention will be addressed in workshops set up around the room. Each workshop will have a master Handyman describing and completing a task, e.g. painting, fixture refinishing, laminate repairs, door closure redrilling, ballast replacement, ceramic tile replacement, grout cleaning, toilet snaking and cabinet hinge replacement. These demonstrations will be followed by an interactive game including prizes to the participants with the most correct answers regarding what has been presented
