Be Sure to Cast your Vote in the RFMA 2012 Board of Directors Election

Keep your eye out for an email announcing the RFMA 2012 Board of Directors Ballot in the coming days. An email will be sent to all RFMA members to vote online for the four (4) Director-at-Large positions for Restaurateurs that are open for 2012. In addition, Primary Vendor Members only will receive an email with a link to the online ballot to elect the 2012 Vendor Representative to the Board. Your participation will be greatly appreciated as we select the future leaders of RFMA.

We are well on our way toward making a wonderful dream come true for the SAME Cafe' in Denver, Colorado but we still need help from YOU and your company! In order to complete this amazing kitchen remodel for our 2012 RFMA Gives recipient, we need more volunteers to provide the goods and services to make this dream a reality.

RFMA-U to Present Our Next Webinar on November 18
"Disaster Management"

Date: Friday, November 18, 2011 10AM CENTRAL (11:00 ET / 8:00 PT / 9:00 MT)
Duration: 90 minutes
Cost: $25 for Members $75 for Non-members

Key elements in disaster management are control and composure. In a crisis situation, people will flock to the person who appears to be in charge and carries themselves confidently. Confidence in your abilities and in your plan will show. Your ability to maintain your composure while those around you are losing theirs is a true sign of leadership. The basis for this commanding composure is confidence in the plan that you have to solve the problem. If you try to do this on the fly, it will be clearly evident and will fail.

Presenter: Vincent Yeager
Vincent retired as a US Navy Officer after serving 30 years. He has 8 years of formal training command (classroom) experience, as well as 22 years of shipboard training experience in a broad range of areas from Nuclear Power to Safety to Fitness. Vincent was a point man for US Navy at disaster relief situations worldwide. He has been with Darden facilities for the past four years.

 How To Attend: Join the live program from your office, home, or hotel room using a computer for the web portion and telephone for the audio portion. You may ask questions, participate in surveys, and post comments from your computer during the program. You may also invite colleagues to watch the program from a shared computer or projection screen and speakerphone. Please note that credit (if available) is only provided to registered attendees participating at their own computer and phone. Simple instructions with a link to the program will be sent when you register.
