DWM applauds staff for sustainable success

NEW YORK, August 23, 2016 -- Inc. magazine ranked DWM Facilities Maintenance on its 35th annual Inc. 500|5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy—America’s independent entrepreneurs.

The average company on the list achieved a mind-boggling three-year growth of 433%. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue is $200 billion, and the companies on the list collectively generated 640,000 jobs over the past three years, or about 8% of all jobs created in the entire economy during that period.

“Earning Inc. 5000 distinction three years in a row is an honor. Being named alongside some of the nation’s most successful and well-respected companies truly testifies to the superb daily efforts of our staff. When I began DWM nearly 20 years ago one of our core values was to control growth to ensure that servicing existing customers was paramount,” said founder and CEO David Meeks. I am happy to say that our team has been successful, both in maintaining long-term client relationship and growth into new markets.”

One of the ways DWM has maintained their core values is through the expansion of resources, primarily through the addition of qualified employees to the DWM team.

In the three year-span measured for the Inc. awards, DWM added 25 local full-time employees. In addition to adding full-time employees, DWM provided work to thousands of technicians in their International Vendor Network, demonstrating a positive ripple effect on the national economy.

“We will continue operating with DWM’s client-centric culture through our continued commitment to solutions-based approach to every work order and project we manage, supporting the restaurant, grocery, convenience store and retail markets,” said DWM Chief Operating Officer Brian Whitt. “Our leadership team would like to thank our staff for their hard work in keeping the DWM culture of partnership, problem-solving, and customization at the forefront of their daily efforts. Their drive to achieve greatness is the biggest asset to our company. We look forward to maintaining our success by continuing to support our staff in their efforts to provide customized solutions to help our clients achieve their goals.”
