Facilities Maintenance Introduces Client-Focused App Updates

Innovative solutions address industry’s most ubiquitous concerns

Latham, NY- DWM Facilities Maintenance is excited to announce new features and functionality in Version 1.1.1 of Hera On-site. The app, available in iTunes and Google Play streamlines the work order completion process for technicians and ensures successful outcomes for clients. Version 1.1.1 of Hera On-site put the focus on finding innovative ways to improve client outcomes, supporting DWM’s commitment to problem-solving and innovation.

“In the recent past, the need for work order completion photos has become a standard requirement of clients across industries. While our team worked to achieve success in this aspect, we knew there had to be a better way,” said Brian Whitt, Chief Operating Officer at DWM. “That’s where the Hera On-site app came in. We now have virtual eyes on each and every work order through live photos that are transmitted to service coordinators while onsite to speed up troubleshooting.”

With success in the realm of photos, DWM looked at their other processes and thought of ways to further improve outcomes for clients. Through multiple sessions, the team determined that the biggest concerns of their clients were both on-time and on-budget work order completions. While these may seem like vague challenges to face, the DWM team worked together to break down the root causes of these issues.

Version 1.1.1 of the Hera On-site app solves the root of these issues with a live NTE calculator that begins alerting technicians when they are approaching the work order NTE, ensuring work orders are completed on-budget. In addition, the app pushes daily reminders of scheduled work for that day, based on time, priority, and location, helping technicians better manage their workload.
