Hello all and welcome to the new RFMA Gives Blog site! This will be used to provide our membership with periodic updates which will include project status, important dates, material needs, and photos/videos taken on site. The location chosen this year is East County Transitional Living Center (ECTLC) in El Cajon, CA, which is a suburb of San Diego. This facility is a faith based non-profit organization that provides transitional & emergency housing, biblical training, and job skills development to individuals and families enabling them to become productive members of the community. ECTLC services are available to all men, women and their minor children regardless of their culture, ethnicity, and/or faith. Their buildings were once a motel and restaurant which have been converted into living and dining facilities along with a sanctuary. They serve an average of 25,000 meals per month. Potential projects have been identified and we are looking for any type of donation including equipment, time, and/or financial. Feel free to contact Tim Corcoran or myself to volunteer, donate, or ask any questions. Our contact information is as follows:
- Tim Corcoran, Sr. Manager, Corporate Projects for Jack-in-the-Box is the Project Manager on site. Tim’s email is: Timothy.Corcoran@jackinthebox.com. His office number is (858) 571-2369.
- Jeff Dover, Facilities Resource Manager, RFMA. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org. Office number is (972) 805-0905, x-3.
