RFMA Chairman of the Board, Bill Wallace with Rock Bottom Restaurants, announced the annual award-winners at RFMA 2010.
The award for Vendor of the Year was presented to Erick Martinez with General Parts LLC. As co-chair of the member services committee, Erick helped this group find its purpose and kept it on track despite multiple changes in the co-chair who served with him. Erick has been with RFMA since our inception and quietly made his mark as a committee member and developed into a strong leader within our organization. Thank you, Erick. Congratulations!The award for Restaurateur of the Year went to 
Maria Johnson with P.F. Changs/Pei Wei Asian Diner. Maria has served in many leadership roles, jumping in head-first almost immediately after joining RFMA. Having served as member services co-chair and then program committee co-chair while simultaneously serving as a subject matter expert on our certification committee, Maria is now a newly-elected board member. We can’t imagine a more deserving recipient. Congratulations, Maria.

As part of our member services committee, Eli lent his social networking expertise to our many new online initiatives this past year, and signed on to sponsor and make appearances at each of our road show events.
